Tom and I love to travel.  We’re both retired teachers and have a small house in Ireland, where we live part-time, and from where we like to visit interesting places. It’s amazing what you learn when you travel, and it’s always good to shake yourself up and re-examine your own cultural assumptions.  Just dealing with an Italian washing machine can expand your horizons.
